Beginning with version 9 Dupehunter Professional offers a full UTF-16 Unicode support. This is a milestone. Now it's possible, that the program can read european and american characters, but also asian and arabic signs.
Equal, whether a search folder contains such characters or some files are named with greek characters: Dupehunter Professional can read, calculate, display and delete all of them. Of course it's also possible to export the search results as XML and CSV format.
Dupehunter Professional reads and writes always in UTF-16 format.
Older job files of Dupehunter Professional version 8 and earlier are incompatible, because all newer job files are also written in UTF-16 file format.
